 Nathan John Feuerstein (born March 30 1991), known by his initials NF (stylized as IF), is an American singer, rapper musician, songwriter and record producer. He has released two EPs, I'm Free (2012),[3 and a self-titled EP in 2014 in association with Capitol CMG. Mansion was his debut major label record, was released in March of 2015. The second studio album, Therapy Session (April 22 and 23, 2016) was a top-selling album at 12 on the US Billboard 200. His albums have earned many awards, including the Gospel Music Association Dove Award Rap/Hip Hop album of the year (Therapy Session). NF gained mainstream recognition through Perception in the year 2017. The album peaked on the charts in the United States at number one and was certified platinum. "Let You Fall" was ranked at number 12 on the. Billboard Hot 100 reached number one in the United States and was also a top-ten worldwide chart hit. The Search, his sequel to his hit album was also a commercial hit. Feuerstein said that rap was a form of escape in his youth. He recorded songs on his karaoke machine. His raps were recorded on one microphone. On the 29th of November, 2010, Feuerstein independently released his debut album Moments under his real name. The first single, "Alone", was released on August 2, 2011. Brooke Griffith, songwriter and producer of the track, was included. Xist Music was attracted to Feuerstein's work in 2012. Feuerstein debuted his expanded work I'm Free on May 2 2012 and was produced by Profitt. The playlist included nine tracks that included "Alone". The EP featured an exclusive version with Sean Simmonds of "Alone". Xist released a teaser for the release of their self-titled extended piece, NF, but Feuerstein quit the label following a dispute and the production of NF was postponed. Despite this, NF featured a song, "Only One", featuring Shuree Williams, in the compilation album of the label, Move Vol 1. The singer released a single, "Beautiful Addiction", on the 4th of November in 2013. Profitt was heard on the track and also vocals by Brady Schmitz and Danielle Swift.
